We had a mixed day today. In the morning we played around the pool and I was a shark again........ this seems to be a favourite game for the boys! Then in the early evening we went exploring.....
First we went to a town called Volterra. We eventually got there passing very narrow and widing roads that my little car was struggling to climb.....well, it did have the wife and 2 kids in!!!
Volterra is a walled town with narrow streets and typically Italian architecture with spectacular views over the country side.
We then made our way tp Sam Gimignano....another steep, walled, hillside town with the most beautiful views. We had time for a cup of tea before making our way back to San Fillippo.
