Lazy days are such bliss!!!! Yet another pool day....hurrah!! ....followed by a trip in the early evening to the Castello Del Nero hotel on the otherside of the valley.

My wallet was trying to hide, as soon as we arrived we were welcomed by a Bentley, a BMW 7 series, a big Mercedes, many Alfas etc etc...... I should have just tuned around then, but, I didn’t.

First the Hotel....... VERY NICE! The building, the position and the ‘fixtures and fittings’ were all excellent (although I will have to say our little farm house was in a far better position view wise!) The boys were exited and ran a muck in the hotel, much to the disgust of the cliental!

The plan was to go and have a drink and an ice cream in the bar, this plan soon changed when I saw the prices! How wonderful it must be not to care about how much a beer was, I unfortunately cannot! I ordered a beer, a Pims, a diet coke and a fresh orange juice......... 43 Euros!!!!!!!!! Keeeeerching. I didn’t order ice cream, at another 56 Euros I thought I would resist the temptation and buy a small village instead!
